Today we're officially launching Quotie — quoting software built specifically for trades businesses in Australia and New Zealand.
This is a milestone we've been working toward for a while, and we wanted to share a bit about what we've built, why we built it, and what's coming next.
Why We Built Quotie
The quoting problem in trades is specific. It's not just that existing software is too expensive or too complex (though both are often true). It's that most quoting tools are built for a different kind of business — one with standard products, predictable pricing, and salespeople who have time to manually build proposals.
Trades businesses are different. Pricing is conditional. A solar job depends on roof pitch, shading, phase, and whether the customer wants a battery. An electrical quote depends on the age of the switchboard, the number of circuits, and what the customer is actually trying to accomplish. An HVAC job depends on room size, existing ductwork, and preferred brand.
This conditional complexity makes most generic quoting tools useless. You end up back in spreadsheets, which have the flexibility but none of the polish, speed, or tracking.
Quotie is built around this reality. The quoting engine handles conditional logic natively — show this option only if that answer was selected, calculate this price based on that measurement, require this field if that option is chosen. You build your pricing rules once, and the system handles the rest.
What We've Built
Smart quote templates. Build your pricing system once with conditional logic, automatic calculations, and matrix pricing. Generate complete, accurate quotes in under 30 seconds.
Multi-option proposals. Send clients a single branded proposal with 2–8 pricing options laid out side by side. The most effective way to increase both close rate and average job value.
Pipeline visibility. See every open quote, when it was sent, whether it's been viewed, and when it's due for follow-up. Your entire sales pipeline at a glance.
Follow-up dashboard. Every outstanding quote is surfaced by urgency — overdue, due today, upcoming. Reschedule with one click. Never let a hot lead go cold.
Branded email sending. Send quotes from your own email address via Gmail or Outlook. Clients receive a professional email from you, not from a third-party platform. Replies are tracked and appear in Quotie automatically.
Calendar & scheduling. View your follow-ups, site visits, and job schedules in day, week, or month views with drag-and-drop rescheduling.
CRM basics. Client profiles, quote history, contact details, and communication logs — everything you need to manage your customer relationships without a full CRM subscription.
Integrations. Native connections to Go High Level, ServiceM8, and Google Drive. More coming.
Who It's Built For
Quotie works for any trade business that sends quotes, but we've built deepest support for:
- Solar installers
- Electrical contractors
- Roofing businesses
- HVAC / air conditioning
- Plumbing
- Painting
If you run a trade business and your quoting process currently involves spreadsheets, Word documents, or a generic invoicing tool, Quotie was built for you.
Pricing
We're launching with straightforward per-seat pricing with no lock-in contracts. We'll have more pricing detail on the pricing page shortly.
We're also offering demo calls for any business that wants to see the platform before signing up. Book a demo here and we'll walk through your specific trade type.
What's Coming Next
We're not slowing down. What's actively in development:
Customer quote portal. An interactive quote viewer where clients can review options, ask questions, and accept — all from a branded link.
Site visits. Schedule and track site visits directly from Quotie, linked to quotes and contacts.
More integrations. We're constantly expanding our integration library based on what our customers use.
More industry templates. Pre-built template libraries for additional trade types based on customer feedback.
Mobile app. Quote on-site from your phone. Currently works well in mobile browser, but a dedicated app is coming.
A Note on How We're Building
We're building Quotie with our customers, not for them. Every feature in the current platform came directly from conversations with real trades businesses about what they actually need.
If you're using Quotie and have feedback — something that's not working, something you wish it did, something confusing — we want to hear it. Genuinely. The fastest way to shape what we build next is to tell us.
Email feedback directly to the team, or use the in-app feedback button.
Thanks for being here at the start. We're building something we're proud of, and we're just getting started.
